The present congregation began forming in 1989 and received a charter in 1991, making it part of the national Unitarian Universalist Association. After several years of meeting in homes and rented spaces, the congregation in 1994 purchased our current property (site of the former Dale Enterprise School, built in 1909). Our religious education building was constructed behind the schoolhouse/sanctuary in 1996-97. We have had alternating periods of lay leadership and ministry.
