Harrisonburg Gift & Thrift Shop is a nonprofit organization that started in 1982. We are committed to Christian faith in action, offering a friendly, caring presence in the community while addressing the stewardship of our environment and supporting the primary goals of Mennonite Central Committee.

Harrisonburg Gift & Thrift Shop, Inc. consists of three stores:

A World of Good Thrift Store accepts donations of clothing, household goods, and furniture that are processed for sale to the general public, or recycled.

Booksavers of Virginia accepts donations of books, audiovisuals, and educational materials that are processed and sold on the Internet, through the Thrift Store, or recycled.

Artisans’ Hope buys and markets fairly traded handicrafts and food items to provide a living wage for unemployed or underemployed persons around the world.
