The Elkton Volunteer Fire Company was organized in 1927 to provide fire protection to the town of Elkton and the surrounding community. Since then the company had changed alot. From its humble beginnings with just a Model T Ford and soda extinguishers to today's fleet of 10 units, the goal of the organization has remained the same, "To Save Life and Property."
