The Rockingham County Refuse Transfer and Recycling Collection Center is for the use of county residents and accepts: aluminum, newspaper, cardboard, plastic #1 and #2, ferrous metal, steel and bi-metal cans, washing machines, dryers, household batteries (AA, AAA, 9Volt, etc), used motor oil but DOES NOT accept: commerical refuse, chemicals or poisons, dead animals, tires, fire embers or ashes, hazardous waste, automobile batteries, furniture, trees and brush, construction refuse, refridgerators, freezers, microwaves, air conditioners, television, computers, fluorescent tubes.

Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm
Services available at this office include: starting new service, canceling service, paying your bill, changing your billing address and other billing matters.
