Hillandale Park

This 75-acre park has 12 picnic shelters, playground equipment, a 1.3 mile 12-station exercise trail, walking trails, a regulation sand volleyball court, two asphalt basketball courts, three restroom facilities and two horseshoe pitching areas.

The Deerfield Portion of the North River Ranger District is located in the heart of the scenic ridge and valley province of northwestern Virginia's Allegheny Mountains.

Oakdale Community Park

Oakdale Park is a 36.5-acre park that is also home to the North River Library and the Bridgewater Little League Program.

Purcell Park

This 67-acre park features 3 softball/baseball fields, 4 tennis courts, 2 playground areas, 3 picnic shelters, several restrooms (wheelchair accessilbe), a 1.5 mile walking trail, a lake for fishing, individual picnic sites, a volleyball area and The Kid's Castle playground.

Ralph Sampson Park

This 31-acre park features a picnic shelter, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, new playground equipment, horseshoe pits and restroom facilities.
